Our Logs
We are proud of log business and we strive to supply the best seasoned and kiln dried logs in the area. We aim to achieve a selection of perfectly sized logs between 3.5 to 7.5 inches, ideal for any fireplace or log burner.
Kiln Dried Logs
Our kiln dried logs have been put in our heated Kiln which removes moisture from the wood, typically you should have an approximate moisture reading of 15%.
Kiln dried logs burn hotter than seasoned logs due to the reduced moisture and therefore are more efficient.
Seasoned Logs
Our logs are all hard wood and fully seasoned, cut, split and boxed into drying crates and stored in our barn on our farm. We aim to achieve a moisture content of below 20%
All wood is processed at our farm so we know how the wood has been handled and sized.
Log Sizes
Log sizes are approximately 3.5 inches to 7.5 inches in width and approximately 9 inches in length and you will receive logs between these sizes* in your delivery or bags for collection. We can NOT promise one size loads and you must expect a variety when ordering with us.
